We live in a world where opening a bank account is as easy as creating an email ID, where loans are processed in minutes without talking to any anyone and money can be moved or paid to almost anyone, anywhere across the world in seconds.
And then there is another world. Where people have to travel miles, stand in queues for hours and visit a bank every time they need to execute a financial transaction. Over 1Bn+ people in Africa, Middle East and SE Asia have to go through these painful exercises whenever they think money movement, loans, payments or account opening.
Small and medium sized financial institutions do not have the capital and technology to digitise financial services for retail users and and small businesses.
We are building XFIN (Digital Banking Platform) to help these small and mid sized bank in Africa, ME & SE Asia to launch their own Digital Banks – both retail and SME.
With XFIN they can turn every financial interaction with their customers digital first, with no capital expenses, in 30 days and without writing code.
Our purpose of existence at XFIN: Eliminate physical banking in developing nations. And create a world without banks.
I am responsible for the product, its design & user experience and the brand messaging/marketing. (And hiring and building the team to get it done.)
